So, you know what I've learned from this? I talk too much. And I need to add on to my interests, as I really don't have that many. And I come off as a fairly boring person. There are SO MANY other things that could have been ranted about. *shrug*

So. When I go online, Yahoo is the place to go first. You know, e-mail, finding out which other sites I should visit first.

They also have news. And OMG. I am without words. Tears made way to my eyes (but did not fall - it's not THAT huge) - and I am so completely dumbfounded.

Linking. That's what I should do. First article: http://www.tv.yahoo.com/high-school-musical-2/show/40085/news/urn:newsml:tv.reuters.com:20080409:highschool_dc

Apparently,  there ARE three new characters, who are sophmores. AND they are already WRITING, and are going to start SHOOTING in two weeks - a FOURTH HSM. It makes me die just a little bit on the inside.

Especially considering this article: http://omg.yahoo.com/three-rising-stars-land-coveted-high-school-musical-3-roles/news/7670?nc

Troy and Gabriella (along with EVERYONE ELSE - I'm glad they noticed) are worried about going off to college and seperating. (Well boo-freaking- hoo) But... it makes me sad on the inside anyway. Because apparently that's all we care about.

But what makes me saddest, and kind of agree the most with - would be what this article writes: http://omg.yahoo.com/roll-call-tisdale-not-committed-to-fourth-hsm-animated-miley/news/8076?nc

Don't expect Ashley Tisdale to be in the fourth movie. (Although I would love to see her in a romantic comedy, which is what she hints at.) Which makes me sad, because that pretty much means they are going to wean out all of the actual original characters and let the people who are new for 3 star in 4, and so-on and so forth. Which will make it suck, become a series (well, moreso) and just become utter crap that only teeny-boppers and small children enjoy. Like the majority of Disney Channel Movies. BUT I have to say I'm happy that Ashley, unlike Disney - will not be holding on, and is not afraid to go out and do something that is not necessarily going to be uber successful. I respect her for that. Just like I respected her for being open about her nose-job and not hiding it, or even doing it for vanity.

A downside of this though... is that Troypay canon looks like a very far off dream. Only true in fandom. No matter how much based in fact it is. Which is okay though... because after seeing the rehearsal for the Reprise of You Are The Music In Me, I've kind of accepted they mean to make Sharpay kind of 'evil' and scary to Troy. Which is kind of a good thing too... ish. If you know my Troypay mind and the way it operates.

Negatively this article though has told me that Miley Cyrus is going to do/has done some voice acting. Opposite John Travolta. And it's a Disney movie. Which is bad in one of two ways. 1) Miley Cyrus is becoming more highly overrated than I thought if they're putting her opposite John Travolta and actually into something serious OR 2) John Travolta's career is really going down the tubes. First he plays a woman (which wasn't actually THAT bad) and now he's voice acting opposite Miley Cyrus. Now if it was just the former, I could live with that. But - ergh. For as much as I love HM I really hate Miley Cyrus.

The plus side of today is that I now have a bra to go with my prom dress, a hair appointment (same time as Nikki! Yay!), and I found shoes I liked. Except they were a size too big and I now have to order them, and this morning I kind of accidentally made myself a runny egg in my sandwich. I didn't particularly enjoy that part.

Fun time shopping though. :D Nikki should now have a prom dress! Yay! (and we didn't go to class. =D Always fun.)

Edit: The John Travolta and Miley Cyrus project is not as bad as it first sounded. It is a movie, and Travolta is the voice of a dog who thinks he's a superhero, and Miley is the voice of his owner. Yeah... I just read an article about upcoming Disney movies. Apparently there is going to be a Toy Story 3 (I'm actually kind of excited!) and a Cars 2. Also, Rapunsel, like two other hand-drawn, more typical Disney movies... and the rest will be digital. So ... yeah. I care about Disney. Maybe a little too much. It was also a Yahoo! story. :*

Eh.

I love slash.  I really, truly do. And smut. I love that too. But only boy/boy slash. Smut - I prefer boy/boy - but hetro works too.

But you know what I love more than any slashy pairing? Troypay. Yep. I do. So much.

Don't know exactly why - but I do.

*sigh* And so, another fruitless day comes to an end. Here's going to bed in hopes I will wake up tomorrow in a working mood. Eh? Eh?

.... I have so much that can be done.

So this is a meme I stole from Poppy. Looks fun.

Pick a fandom you know I know about, and I'll tell you:

1. The first character I fell in love with
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
4. The character I love that everyone else hates
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
6. The character I would shag anytime
7. The character I'd want to be like
8. The character I'd want to slap
9. A pairing that I love
10. A pairing that I hate

Okay. I like Kuzco/Melina. *averts eyes*

Dude, some of you probably don't even know what that is. I blame it on the fact I get home at noon, I turn on the tube and it's Jake Long, Kim Possible, and then The Emperor's New School. And I don't hate it - so I don't turn it off. And so I like it. And the musical episode was just on, and they kissed. And it was sweet. And I rewound it like three times.

So, no where near the newfound love I have for Quogan, or Carly/Freddie, or future-ship Sam/Spencer (it is all 'iHatch Chicks' s fault, FYI). Or of course the ships that never die, like Luke/Lorelai or Lilly/Jackson, or Miley/Oliver, or Troypay or anything.

Just a guilty pleasure kind of thing. Except now it's not a secret. Um, yeah.

If anyone's interested, I was thinking of doing the meme's like Top Five: Fictional Characters, OTPs, and worst canon-rape. Anyone interested? =D If not, I'll probably still do them. While I'm procratinating. Like I'm doing now. And I don't have any actual homework.... how horrible am I?

Mary-Sue Gabriella is so un-fun to write. So exactly how bad is it to have her out of character, if only a teensy bit, to be snarky with Sharpay after an hour of vocal practice? And when Troy comes into the chat? Would short, snippy - 'the boy is mine' type of comments be too much? And then in the same situation - how weird would it be to have Sharpay be the one to take the so called 'high road'? Too much? Just barely out of character enough to work?

...

Ergh. I guess I'll just have to do the one-shot and then see, huh?

*frustrated*

I really don't like Gabriella.

OMGawd!!!! The HSM 1 canon is ruining my brain!!!! I mean, in the beginning it was fine - and I was like - hey! my fics facts will fit fine in here, my backstory filling in gaps and such. But the story went on and I'm just like..... :O And all I seem to have ever known about HSM or any type of criticism seemed to just fly from my mind. I mean, I am now even more convinced Ryan is gay - but other than that (and Chad's awesome-ness) I'm very confused.

Ashley Tisdale's awesome-ness, Vanessa Hudgens's crappy-ness..... on kind of shaky ground. And I'm hearing the mixover of Troy's voice that is SO not Zac.... and I'm just confused. I mean, Vanessa actually does okay vocally in this movie - and Ashley seems very poppy here, her true theatre voice sadly misinterpreted (which the Sharpay-ness can mostly account for) and I'm just.... GRR!

And now I realize that my story is going to have to be at least partially AU now! Chad actually says that Troy was simply the first (ever) to become a varsity starter as a sophmore. I wrote in my intro he was a starter as a freshman. I mean, he didn't say he wasn't ON varsity freshman year.... and I guess I could twist it up. But that makes me frown even farther on how HSM portrays high school basketball. Some things they've got, but other stuff is just horrible! I mean, if he's CAPTAIN and so phenomenal (which he really doesn't seem to be) as a JUNIOR than he should've been on varsity since freshman year. Even then - where're the upperclassman? Where are the seniors who would be just as good and have more high school experience for heaven's sake?! Grrr.

Up-side.... I'm more in touch with the characters so I can make them more 'in-character' in my story... and I know now exactly how much they have to change, and they whys I need (and now partially have). And now I'm even more glad I have the DVD because I'm going to have to watch parts over and over again - along with analyzing completely the interactions and repercussions and.... well - everything. And to make sure my characters are consistent... oy. This might be more than I bargained for. A LOT of backstory. And what's worse is that I can't even cleanse my inner HSM fan by watching the second movie because it all has to fit into the FIRST movie moreso than I would for the second because it all happens before. I might not even have to do anything with the second. But I probably will.

I guess it'll be a long haul, huh? Oh well - I guess that's just what the price is for a well-written, in-character Troypay.

Maybe with some anti from the HSM section I could get some stuff finished in the HM category.

My 'Easy Mac' smells and tastes slightly of broccoli. I'm half-way disgusted and half-way intrigued. Of all of the like three things my noodles came in contact with - none of them are broccoli related. *is perturbed*

I'm having issues watching the beginnings of "What Time Is It?". No, not because I can't find the video, no - it's not because I despise HSM or anything... It's actually because the beginning sickens me a little bit. Does anyone else think that when everybody (but Troy) starts chanting "summer" it sounds like a group orgasm? Because that's what it sounds like to me. Sure, in essence that's actually what it kind of is... but - do they really have to make it sound so much like it? It's a children's movie! Sure, they can put a bunch of stuff in there that teens actually do - and stuff only the older population would get (switching clothes anyone?) ... but c'mon! The actual sound of a group orgasm is a bit much - especially at the beginning of a song. I know if my kid was watching that and I was doing something in a nearby room and heard, I'm be like... hold on - I thought this was Disney! (or like my icon). *rolls eyes*

Also, I like just watched "All for One" ... and there are a few things that irk me. And one element that's kind of disturbing. The song is actually probably the worst in the movie(which isn't saying that it's bad), and just a different way of saying "We're all in this together". *rolls eyes* How original. But some of the dancing irks me too. It's just weird. For various people at very random times (and how they end it Troyella is equally disturbing). But overall it's Lucas's usually stellar that confused me. The entire song (and I mean entire) and dance number he looks like he's high, or drunk, or acting crazy and silly on purpose. So I have wonder, why would Lucas be dancing so exuberantly and crazy? I know that he is by far probably the best dancer, (Corbin's second best!) and he was also voted by the cast as most serious actor (and he's one of the best - tying probably with Ashley and maybe Zac) ... so what the heck? Did he go a little crazy with the extreme heat? Did he figure since that since the dance moves appear to make the gang look like they're high - or overtly happy go lucky and 'OMG we're finally going to get along!' that he figured since the change of events effected Ryan so much (again - baseball scene?) he would be on a larger high than everyone else. *shrug* I mean - he is the actor who looks the deepest into his character to play him more accurately. :D

So - it's either that, heat-stroke madness, or Corbin and him agreed that their characters had just *ahem* 'done something' or ... he himself figured that's what the characters of Chad and Ryan would have done. :D
