Did you just skip over the video? Fine. Go back and skip to 1:37. Watch.
SO MUCH EPIC.
- Everyone saw Jerry and Jennette being a blatant couple, right? Right?
- Do they do this all the time? Because it is excessively similar to my icon. Which happened around the time of the actual GS set premiere. They were filming/rehearsing the episode where Carly speed dates to find a guy for the dance. THEY SO DO THIS ALL THE TIME Which truthfully is both shippy and extremely not all at once. Very shippy because OBVIOUSLY - they are all over each other any second they can, all simplicity and comfortable. Not shippy because they're obviously close, working together for so long and Jennette's just the right height and Jennette's stretching, and it's a weird thing that people who are very open with their personal bubbles would definitely do. If I had someone else who was open about their personal bubble and I was comfortable with them I would totally do this all the time, no romantic strings attached.
- Jerry is resting his head on her head. He does not move. There is a definite, no, sorry - I didn't hear you because I was all comfy and relaxed in this weird but still awesome embrace. He does not move his arms when Jennette moves her's around, and she does not mind.
- Their responses to Dan's "now don't you feel terrible?" - almost exactly the same and in the same tone of voice. Jerry's like, "No, I don't feel bad. Oh, well that just makes our decision that much easier, thank you." And Jennette's all "oh, sure you would, and y'know - that just means I was right!" All said while being thisclose and ontopofeachother.
- Their innate couple-ness the whole video. No, I'm serious. Jennette's being questioned and keeps looking over at the brother-sister-ly antics of Miranda and Jerry which Dan actually tells them to knock it off, oh my god I love them all. But it's not an 'oh they're so hilarious' look, it's a look that I see all the time during family gatherings, where the male is being silly and ridiculous and a bit stupid with someone else, and their wife/girlfriend just looks over at them, interested, but not caring a whole lot, because she's got other things going on, like conversations or she's watching their small children. You think I'm lying but I am so not my sister in law and cousin in law do this all the time. Legit. And of course we see her looking over at him sitting very comfortably on the couch, and she's like, okay I'll come over there, whatever. (and you'll notice Miranda is no longer there, but standing right behind Dan. But I'll come back to that.)
- Their innate couple-ness also extends to the staging of the whole video. Which is made SO MUCH MORE interesting in the fact that they are actually being staged right before they actually roll film for actual filming (which you can see by the woman who's going around all of them doing things, and then some guy(s) are telling the actors things, giving them direction, or something necessary to improve shooting or whatever.). Jerry's supposed to be by the door, Jennette on the couch, I assume Miranda on the stairs-ish, Nathan and Noah at the bar. And they move around in relation to that. Contracting to where the end of the video is, Jerry's not being told anything, but he sort of follows Jennette back, and she's told things... It's very hard to describe because its such a visual thing, but it's definitely there.
- Nathan is super adorable and awesome. "Jennette would cannibilize me?!" And then he's all "self-sacrifice!" and just... wow, Nathan. You are awesome and amazing and I love you.
- Miranda's adorable. And she follows Dan over to Nathan and Noah. I don't know, but the weird Dan and Miranda dynamic is super interesting here, and it's also intertwined with the Jerry and Miranda bond, and I don't even know. She's adorable and Jerry is so her big brother and she holds a grudge because she is so not the weakest, Jerry is slow and dumb. "Still Jerry." *giggles for a long time*
- I really really really love the on-set dynamic. So much. Mostly because everything I think about the on-set dynamic is ALWAYS PROVEN CORRECT, but also because I love these people so much it's ridiculous.
- I now really want an icon of Jerry and Jennette now that's a series of still shots from this (where they're allontopofeachother) that says something like, I'm sorry, I didn't hear you, I was too busy being in love. Or something more awesome and clever, but similar.
heeeheeeheee How many of you actually knew I was this in-depth and insane in my shipping and fandom ways? muahahahaha
