I'm giving into Christmas happiness.

I took this from (technically) poppyfields13's journal... but I got it from jannika  too. Technically, also. (See the font style/color? I didn't do that. That's Steph.)

STEP ONE
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My List

1. Spam smut. No, seriously... I really, really, REALLY want some (happy) Spencer/Sam smut.

2. To not die from stress by finals. Or from sleep-deprivation.

3. Kim/Ron smut. Yeah... it's kind of a dead fandom, but future-fic smut? Like, when they're engaged/marriedwith kids/in-college? How do you NOT want to write that?! I know I do.

4. Mail!!! Like, tangible mail I can get excited about in my mailbox. A lot of people on my f-list actually have my address. Hmm.

5. iCarly episodes. Like, does anyone know where any good downloads are? Or have them that they could upload for me? I really don't want to bother with iTunes for the ones I lost and I kind of just want them all. On my computer. I neeeeeed them. Think of my moodtheme! Do it for the moodtheme! And icons I could make! And picspams! And for the GS!

6. Creddie fanfiction. I mean, I know Spam is sparse... but I'm okay with that. Carly/Freddie is really quite impossible to find. And with my standards for good fic, it's pretty non-existent.

7. Kim Possible episodes. Like iCarly... I just NEED THEM. Anyone know some good downloads? (Especially season four.) So I don't have to keep staying up until 2 AM to watch these episodes?

8. A pretty banner? Made just for me? Or any kind of graphic, really.

9. I really am fairly easy to please. Comments make me VERY happy. As do posts in the groovysmoothie . I'm just make really big lists so that if you do choose to do something for me... I want you to have an idea and not have to scratch you head about it.

I hope you all are getting excited for Christmas! Like, don't be sad for the cold (for those of you in the north) - be excited it's going to be Christmas soon! *hugs*
